SANTO DOMINGO.- El libro “Tesoros de Barahona: educación, religión y deporte”, de la autoría del periodista y catedrático universitario Oscar López Reyes, fue puesto en circulación en el marco de las actividades de celebración del 100 aniversario de esta provincia.La actividad, efectuada en la Sociedad Dominicano de Bibliófilos, en la calle Las Damas número 106 de la Zona Colonial, intervinieron el cardenal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez, Wilson Gómez Ramírez, coordinador general de los festejos barahoneros; Virgilio Gautreaux Piñeyro, prologuista y el autor del libro.
Se dieron cita, además, Flavia García, secretaria de la mujer; Noel Starling Vásquez, senador por Barahona; Víctor Terrero, diputado por esta provincia; los embajadores Rosa María Nadal y Radhamés Batista, entre otras personalidades, familiares y amigos de Oscar López Reyes.
La obra del ex presidente del Colegio Dominicano de Periodistas (CDP) fue publicada con el patrocinio de Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom), que administra el Aeropuerto Internacional María Montez de Barahona.
